Three soldiers from Dagestan were killed in Ukraine

Zakariya Ibrahimov and two of his fellow countrymen from the Kazbekovsky district were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, officials have publicly named at least 2148 killed combatants from Dagestan.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by October 7, officials and law enforcement recognized at least 4872 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District as killed in Ukraine, including 2145 from Dagestan.

The administration of the Kazbekovsky district named three more killed soldiers from Dagestan while reporting on the transfer of posthumous awards to their relatives.

The killed are Zakariya Ibrahimov and Abdulmanap Aliyev from the village of Kalininaul, as well as Rasul Bartikhanov from the village of Leninaul, the official Telegram channel of the municipality reported.

The age and biographical details of the killed fighters are not provided in the officials' message.

Thus, at least 2148 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, according to the report of "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".

In August, the administration of the Kazbekovsky district publicized the names of four killed in Ukraine: Abdurauf Ibrahimov, Ubaiz Aliyev, Shamil Budaykhanov, and Timur Khasinov.

Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in the number of killed whose names have been officially announced by the authorities. Sergey Melikov, who headed Dagestan in February 2022, was the first among representatives of the authorities to state that a Russian military man was killed in Ukraine, acknowledging the death of officer Nurmagomed Gadzhimagomedov.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, as stated in the material of "Caucasian Knot" "Three comrades served: how the authorities deprive the families of killed volunteers of benefits", which describes the stories of the killed fighters.
