Two citizens of Ukraine were convicted in Rostov-on-Don for terrorism.

The court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced two citizens of Ukraine, Sergey Krivosheev and Alexander Kuranov, to long terms for participating in a terrorist community.
The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don issued a verdict on October 5, finding two citizens of Ukraine guilty of participating in a terrorist community.
The court established that Sergey Krivosheev and Alexander Kuranov voluntarily joined a separate special forces unit of the Ukrainian armed formations "Azov" (the organization is recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia) in February 2022. They underwent combat training and participated in hostilities in the territory of the DPR until May 2022, reports "Kommersant".
Krivosheev and Kuranov were found guilty of undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities and participating in a terrorist community (part 2 of article 205.4 and article 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Krivosheev was sentenced to 19 years and six months in prison, while Kuranov received 20 years.
Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that at the end of September, the Southern District Military Court sentenced four residents of Melitopol to terms ranging from 17 to 28 years, finding them guilty of preparing terrorist acts against local officials.
