Storm battalion fighter Denis Barabashov killed in the special military operation. Since the beginning of the special operation, at least 1025 fighters from the Rostov region have been officially recognized as killed.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", earlier the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 1024 fighters from the Rostov region as killed in Ukraine.
"Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who have been killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the report from "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the special military operation: losses in southern Russia are increasing".
In the zone of the military operation, storm battalion fighter Denis Barabashov was killed. For his combat merits, he was awarded the medal "For Diligent Service" and posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. A memorial plaque has been installed in his honor at school No. 9 in Azov, where Barabashov studied, the city administration reported on its Telegram channel.
Thus, at least 1025 fighters from the Rostov region have been officially recognized as killed in the special military operation.
