The court in Azerbaijan has sentenced TikToker Muhammad Nasibov to 10 days in jail for using profanity during a live stream.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 14, TikTokers Magsad Bagirov and Kamran Bilalov were arrested in Azerbaijan, accused of inciting religious hatred.

In Azerbaijan, TikToker Muhammad Nasibov ("7_muxammed_7") has been arrested for using obscene language during a live stream on social media while conversing with other TikTokers, thereby offending public morality and showing clear disrespect for society, Oxu.az reports on October 3.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the detainee under Article 510.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Azerbaijan. The court sentenced Nasibov to 10 days in jail.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of the year, amendments to the law "On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information" came into force in Azerbaijan, establishing liability for the dissemination of content on the Internet that contains "offense to public morality and clear disrespect for society", as well as "obscene expressions, gestures, or the demonstration of body parts in a manner contrary to moral norms and national-spiritual values".
