Deputy of the State Duma Adam Delimkhanov and assistant to the director of the National Guard Alibek Delimkhanov have been awarded the title of "Hero of Chechnya" for the second time; previously, the title was awarded twice to the head of Chechnya himself and his son Adam.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on October 3, the commander of the National Guard troops Viktor Zolotov presented the army general's epaulettes and a maroon beret to the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in Grozny.
In his Telegram channel, the head of Chechnya announced the awarding of the head of the National Guard Viktor Zolotov with the title "Hero of the Chechen Republic". According to him, this title was also awarded to State Duma deputy of the Russian Federation Adam Delimkhanov, assistant to the director of the National Guard Alibek Delimkhanov, and commander of the OMON "AKHMAT-1" of the National Guard for the Chechen Republic Alihan Shavkhalov. The highest award of the Chechen Republic — the Kadyrov Order was awarded to the deputy director of the National Guard Anatoly Malikov.
Adam Delimkhanov previously received the title of Hero of Chechnya in April 2023, reported the publication "Grozny Inform".
The awarding of the first title of "Hero of Chechnya" to Alibek Delimkhanov was also timed to Viktor Zolotov's visit to the republic in February 2024, according to a post in the Telegram channel of the head of Chechnya dated February 21, 2024.
