Ramazanov's promise to fire ineffective officials caused skepticism on social media.

The authorities of Dagestan will "say goodbye" to officials who do not want to work effectively, warned the Prime Minister of the Republic, Magomed Ramazanov. Social media users, commenting on his words, doubted that the warning would lead to real changes and pointed out a number of unresolved infrastructure issues.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 23, Dagestan's Prime Minister Magomed Ramazanov urged officials not to limit themselves to formal responses to citizens' appeals, but to actually solve their problems. Residents of the republic then complained that they regularly receive template responses from Dagestani officials and also noted that they had not received answers to their appeals to Ramazanov himself.

The Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, Magomed Ramazanov, demanded that municipalities and executive authorities ensure positive dynamics in the implementation of projects and avoid falling behind established schedules.

"We are already in the tenth month, and some authorities and municipalities are still stuck. It is necessary to plan so that by the middle of the year, everything is mostly implemented. <...> Those who do not want to work – then we will say goodbye. Those who want to work properly and correctly – we will strive for good results," Ramazanov said, whose words were cited by "Dagestan Truth" on October 3.

Ramazanov's words were also published by the Instagram* public page dagestan_like, which has about 99.3 thousand followers. As of 14:45 MSK on October 4, this post had received 348 likes and 108 comments.

Some users doubted that Ramazanov's tough words would lead to real personnel decisions. "Empty talk," stated dadashev_r_.

"No one will work. Empty words, as always," wrote khabib.727.

"We've heard all this before," stated nurudin.nn.

Other commentators contrasted Ramazanov's statements with unresolved issues regarding roads, bridges, and urban infrastructure. "What has been done in 10 months?" asked aytekov.

"Just talk around the table. But the city continues to drown when it rains. When will the citizens' problems be solved? People change at the table, but what good does it do for the people?" asked ina.in111.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of Dagestan periodically criticize the effectiveness of officials and demand concrete results from them. For instance, on September 12, drivers pointed out to the authorities the unresolved issue of high gasoline prices and demanded a reduction in fuel costs.
