An officer from Azov was killed in the military operation.

Lieutenant Dmitry Myshkin was killed in the SVO zone. Since the beginning of the special operation, at least 1021 fighters from the Rostov region have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", earlier the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 1020 fighters from the Rostov region as killed in Ukraine.

"Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the report of "Caucasian Knot" "SVO Statistics: Losses in Southern Russia are Growing".

In the special military operation zone, the commander of a rifle platoon, Lieutenant Dmitry Myshkin, was killed; he was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. In honor of Myshkin, a Hero's Desk has been established at the Azov Lyceum, the city administration reported on its Telegram channel.

Thus, at least 1021 fighters from the Rostov region have been officially recognized as killed in the SVO.
