Serviceman Igor Strelykin was killed "in the line of duty" in the combat zone, the administration of the Zhiranovsky district reported on its page on "VKontakte" on October 2.

"During the special military operation, our fellow countryman Strelykin Igor Alekseevich, born on 02.06.1973, was killed," the publication states. No details of the biography of the deceased are provided in it.
