Two fighters from the Volgograd region were killed in Ukraine.

Anton Tkachenko and Alexey Milovanov from the Zhirnovsky district were killed in combat operations in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1842 fighters from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by October 1, at least 1840 fighters from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine .

In the military operation, Corporal Anton Tkachenko and Private Alexey Milovanov were killed, and state awards were handed over to their relatives, the administration of the Zhirnovsky district reported on its page on "VKontakte" on October 1. The last time the deaths of fighters from the Zhirnovsky district became known was in September. At that time, the authorities reported that three fighters were killed in the military operation: Mikhail Kozhevnikov, Dmitry Kosterin, and Alexey Belov.
