Children in Vladikavkaz complained about the emergency playground.
Children of the village "Cherry Orchard" in Vladikavkaz recorded a video message to the head of the region and the city, asking to solve the problem of the dangerous playground and the lack of a full-fledged sports infrastructure near the apartment buildings.
Children from Syrenevaya Street in Vladikavkaz addressed the head of North Ossetia, Sergey Menyaylo, and the mayor of Vladikavkaz, Vyacheslav Mildzikhov, asking to create a full-fledged children's and sports playground near their apartment buildings.
The video message was published by the Telegram channel "Ossetia - [æ]", which has over 30,000 subscribers. By 7:00 PM, the publication had gained over 100 views.
"We, the children from Syrenevaya Street in Vladikavkaz. Our playground is in terrible condition and we cannot play here safely. We ask you to come to us and address this situation," the children say in the video.
They pointed out that many of the playground's equipment have exposed wires. "Look, everything here is torn, you can fall and break something," a little boy complains.
The children also pointed out the dented slides, whose structures are completely loose and, as a result, wobble. "Four years ago, there was still sand in this sandbox, but then it became less and less. Now it has all overgrown," another child noted.
"Also look at our football field, the surface is torn in places. Personally, I injured my leg here twice. The net on the goal is torn, we secured it with bags. The net in the passage is completely broken," an older child complained.
According to the parents, the playground is about 15 years old, and its structures have become unusable due to natural wear and tear, while new houses continue to be built nearby, and full-fledged yards and sports areas have not yet appeared, the Telegram channel clarifies.
Residents have already collected about 500,000 rubles and are ready to allocate these funds for co-financing the improvement, but the land plot belongs to the developer "Stroinvest," which prevents the municipality from taking the area into account and starting work. Currently, the playground is used by children from about ten apartment buildings, and after the construction of such buildings is completed, there will be about fifteen.
Parents are asking either to resolve the issue of transferring the plot to the city or to obligate the developer to restore the playground and create the promised sports area.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that parents from North Ossetia said that they are saving on preparing their children for school, including using leftover items and supplies from last year. According to them, government assistance is not available to all families due to need criteria, and its amount does not cover all expenses for preparing a schoolchild, which exceed 30,000 rubles.
