Pro-European actions in Tbilisi and Batumi have been ongoing for 670 days.

Demonstrators gathered outside the Parliament of Georgia on the 670th day of continuous protests demanded the release of political prisoners and expressed their opposition to the pro-Russian political course.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the march "Abkhazia is Georgia, glory to the heroes" took place in Tbilisi on the 33rd anniversary of the fall of Sukhumi, September 27. Those gathered demanded the restoration of Georgia's territorial integrity.

Supporters of Georgia's Eurointegration gathered today near the Parliament and City Council building in Tbilisi for the 670th evening in a row. The protesters' demands remain unchanged – they seek the release of political prisoners, the repeal of repressive laws, a return to the Euro-Atlantic course, and free elections, reports Publika.

As in previous days, activists brought national flags and European Union flags to Rustaveli Avenue. Participants held placards: "Down with the Russian regime", "Freedom for prisoners of conscience", "If we have social and economic equality, we can regain lost territories", "Russia is our common enemy", "I am from Georgia, and Russia killed my people. Today they are killing Ukrainians" and "Russia kills", according to photos published by photographer Georgy Mosiashvili (Mo Se).

The action on the 670th day of protests also took place in Batumi, where demonstrators gathered outside the Constitutional Court building, notes Batumelebi.

Participants in the protests in Georgia since November 28, 2024, have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners. Security forces have conducted harsh crackdowns on protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and detaining protesters.
