Vladikavkaz residents pointed out the problem of regular water pipe bursts to officials.

On Kursantov-Kirovtsev Street in Vladikavkaz, the same water pipe has burst about 15 times in two years, and water from the accidents has been standing for months near the gymnasium and kindergarten, complained a local resident. Other Vladikavkaz residents, commenting on her complaint on social media, shared similar multi-month leaks in other areas of the city and criticized officials and utility workers for the lack of a systematic solution to the problem.

One of the residents of Vladikavkaz complained about the constant bursts of the water pipe near house No. 12B on Kursantov-Kirovtsev Street. According to her, there have been about 15 bursts of the same pipe in this area over the past two years. Her complaint was published on September 26 by the Instagram* public northossetia.

According to the resident, water has been standing for months after the bursts near the gymnasium and kindergarten "Dialog," and in some places the area has turned into a swamp. Appeals to "Vodokanal," repair services, and the administration have yielded no results: the damage to the pipe is fixed with local repairs, while the asphalt and sidewalk are regularly dug up, the author of the complaint pointed out.

This post in the Instagram* public northossetia, which has about 416 thousand users, had received 66 likes and 13 comments by 16:00 MSK on September 27.

Commenters, identifying themselves as local residents, criticized the utility services and officials. "Thank you for publishing this. I don’t know how else to influence this. This situation with the pipe bursts has been going on for about three years. The fact that it is, to put it mildly, of poor quality is said by the workers of the repair service, who have patched it about 15 times in different places, while the asphalt and sidewalk are constantly damaged. Now water has been flowing non-stop from two places for 4-5 months. I was told that the issue is being resolved with a complete replacement of the pipe from Vesenniaya Street to the 'Dialog' school, but the situation hasn’t changed for several years," wrote user avtoatelie_ksv.

"This has been going on for not months, but several years. No one cares. Hello, 'Vodokanal,' where are you? This is where clean water is flowing away... They could replace this pipe properly once! And look at what has happened to our sidewalk; it’s just gone, all the curbs have been demolished. Road service, pay attention!" urged mgobeeva_.

"You can’t walk past in the morning. I’m tired! My children come home dirty. And there’s also constantly water in front of the 'Sugar' store; the sewage is leaking. Do something already! People are tired," noted user bibi_ya_b.

Other residents reported long-term leaks from the water supply on other streets in Vladikavkaz, including where appeals to emergency services have not helped. "And also on Telmana, near GMI, it’s been six months. There have been calls to emergency services, and not just one," wrote avramenko_ira.

"The same goes for Vesenniaya Street, on the odd side. They fix one leak, and two more open up... Most leaks are in the same places," pointed out petrbitarov.

As of 16:00 MSK, there were no comments on the website of the State Unitary Enterprise "Republican Water Supply and Sewerage Enterprise" regarding the complaints of Vladikavkaz residents about the constant pipe bursts.
