Several thousand students were attracted to the flash mob in honor of Kadyrov's record in the elections.

In honor of Ramzan Kadyrov's record result in the elections for the head of Chechnya, a flash mob took place in Grozny, in which several thousand students from the Akhmat Kadyrov State University participated. Analysts previously indicated that there was no real competition in the elections, and Kadyrov's opponents only provided a formal alternative.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 23, analysts assessed the abnormally high result of Ramzan Kadyrov in the elections for the head of Chechnya. According to the Central Election Commission, after processing 100% of the ballots, Kadyrov received a record 99.85% of the votes, while his opponents Ismail Denilkhanov and Khalid Nakayev received 0.05% each.

A large-scale flash mob dedicated to the results of the recent elections took place at the Chechen State University (Chechen State University) named after Akhmat Abdulhamidovich Kadyrov. Almost three thousand students and staff lined up in the composition "We are KRA", Ramzan Kadyrov reported on September 22 on his Telegram channel.

According to Kadyrov, the initiative to hold the flash mob came from the students. "It is especially important for me that this initiative was shown by the students themselves. Young people always perceive what is happening around them in their own way and find their own ways to express their position," he wrote.

The head of Chechnya also thanked the university administration. "I sincerely thank my dear brother, the rector of Chechen State University <…> Zaurbek Saidov, the students, and the university staff for their initiative," Kadyrov stated.

Let us remind you that in previous years, there have been repeated reports from students and budget workers in Chechnya about coercion to participate in events related to the elections. For example, in March 2024, before the presidential elections in Russia, a reader of the "Caucasian Knot" with the nickname lavette wrote that students and teachers from Grozny universities were instructed to arrive at their universities or to Minutka Square to participate in a procession in support of Vladimir Putin. "Students and budget workers will simply play the role of extras in this staged event," he noted. Two days later, Chechen political scientist Ruslan Kutaev* noted that mainly budget workers were herded to the rally to create "the necessary picture before the elections".

On September 18, 2021, one of the teachers at Chechen State University reported that the student-teacher staff was gathered at the university in connection with the elections. A moderator of an opposition Telegram channel to the authorities in Chechnya in the same material reported that students were obliged to appear at the main buildings of universities with passports.

In March 2018, teachers and staff of medical institutions in Grozny reported being instructed to be at polling stations from morning until the end of voting, while budget workers reported the coercive nature of participation in the flash mob "I will go to the elections".
