Restrictions on visiting beaches in Sochi have been lifted.

Access to beaches and embankments in Sochi has been allowed, which was restricted due to the threat of attack by unmanned boats.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 19, the Sochi operational headquarters restricted access to beaches and embankments. Mayor Andrey Proshunin explained the restrictions by the threat of attack by unmanned boats.

The threat of an attack by boats has been lifted, Andrey Proshunin reported on his Telegram channel on September 19. "In Sochi, the threat of the use of UAVs (unmanned boats) has been lifted. Access to beach areas and embankments is being carried out in a normal mode," he wrote.

Recall that on September 9, after the attack by unmanned boats in Sochi, eight people required medical assistance, five of whom were hospitalized. The explosion damaged part of the Primorskaya embankment.

On September 24, 2025, when two people died during an attack by UAVs and unmanned boats in Novorossiysk and Tuapse, people in Gelendzhik and Sochi were ordered to leave the beaches. However, in Sochi, some vacationers returned to the sea. People in coastal areas risk becoming accidental victims during attacks, so the evacuation of vacationers from the beaches was a justified measure, specialists indicated.
