The Central Election Commission of South Ossetia has summarized the final results of the presidential elections in the republic. 84.95% of voters cast their votes for Marat Kambolov, who is recognized as the elected president.

The Central Election Commission of South Ossetia has summarized the final results of the early presidential elections, according to a message published on the CEC website on September 19.
According to the counting data, 27,822 voters (84.95%) voted for Marat Kambolov, and based on the voting results, he is recognized as the president of South Ossetia. 1,257 voters (3.82%) voted for Murat Valiev, 828 voters (2.52%) for Kazbek Kodoev, and 488 voters (1.48%) for Zurab Kokoev. 1,610 voters or 4.90% voted against all candidates.
A total of 32,869 people participated in the voting, with a final turnout of 82.65%. A total of 39,768 voters were included in the lists.
In accordance with the Constitutional Law of the Republic of South Ossetia "On the Elections of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia", the elected president takes office on the 10th day after the CEC publishes the final election results.
