The case of a resident of Sochi, who desecrated the memorial to the fallen tankers of the Great Patriotic War at the end of August, has been submitted to the court. She was accompanied by an acquaintance, whose criminal case investigation has been suspended because he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in late August, a criminal case was initiated against a resident of Sochi who desecrated the monument to the tankers who fell on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War in the Khosta district.

The investigation against a 46-year-old resident of Sochi, who is accused of desecrating objects that commemorate the memory of those who died defending the Motherland, has been completed after she urinated on the memorial to the fallen tankers of the Great Patriotic War in the Khosta district, writes "Morning South" on September 12.

The accused was near the monument with her 48-year-old acquaintance, both were in a state of alcoholic intoxication. The accused admitted her guilt; she is charged with committing a crime under paragraphs "a" and "b" of part 2 of article 243.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (desecration of memorial structures).

The criminal prosecution of her acquaintance has been separated into a separate proceeding; the investigation against the man has been suspended because he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and left for the area of the special military operation.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that in early May, a 30-year-old citizen of Ukraine was detained in the Krasnodar region for desecrating 14 burials of participants in the special military operation.
