As reported by "Caucasian Knot", earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan filed two lawsuits against the leader of the "Strong Armenia" party, Samvel Karapetyan, demanding a public refutation and compensation for moral damages. Pashinyan considers the statement that he has a house in Canada, as well as the use of hallucinogenic mushrooms, to be defamatory.

According to the lawsuit, Pashinyan must read a set text of apology live on his official Facebook page without any additions or comments.
"I, Nikol Vovaevich Pashinyan, apologize to Samvel Sargsovich Karapetyan for making offensive statements against Samvel Karapetyan during my public speech on 29/05/2026," News.Am cites the text of the apology.
The lawsuit was submitted to the Yerevan Civil Court on September 9.
