Kadyrov reported the opening of a school in Shali against the backdrop of the election campaign.
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported the opening of a school and a complex of three administrative buildings for the district prosecutor's office, the Investigative Committee, and the drug control unit in Shali. The opening ceremonies took place less than two weeks before the elections for the head of Chechnya, in which Kadyrov is running for this position again.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the elections for the head of Chechnya are scheduled for September 18-20. Ramzan Kadyrov is registered as a candidate for the position of head of the republic.
Of the last three votes, in which Ramzan Kadyrov retained the position of head of Chechnya, two were direct elections. In 2021, Kadyrov, according to official data, received 99.7% of the votes. In 2016, his official result was 97.94%. In 2011, direct elections were not held: all deputies of the People's Assembly of Chechnya supported Kadyrov's reappointment for a new term, meaning he was voted for by 100% of the participating deputies.
A secondary school No. 1 named after Akhmat Kadyrov has opened in Shali. The old school building was built in 1939 and designed for about 600 places, while about a thousand children studied at the school. With funds from the Regional Public Fund named after Akhmat Kadyrov, a new building for almost 500 places was constructed, and the previous buildings and territory were renovated, Kadyrov reported on September 7 in his Telegram channel.
On the same day, Kadyrov reported the opening of a complex of three two-story administrative buildings for the Shali district prosecutor's office, the Investigative Committee, and the drug control unit. The total cost of construction exceeded 193 million rubles, Kadyrov wrote.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that during the current election campaign, the authorities and structures associated with the Kadyrov family reported on various social and public initiatives. For example, on September 5, the Akhmat Kadyrov Fund reported on the distribution of food packages to needy families in Grozny. On September 6, the Ministry of Education and Science of Chechnya reported on new textbooks of the history of the native land that began to be used in schools.
