A resident of Astrakhan fell in the mountains of Adygea and sustained serious injuries; he was evacuated by helicopter.

Rescuers evacuated a 44-year-old tourist from the Astrakhan region in the mountains of Adygea.

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Adygea, the tourist fell into a ravine in the area of the Armenian ridge towards the confluence of the Belaya and Biryuza rivers. He sustained rib and leg injuries, as well as a traumatic brain injury, reported "Kommersant" on September 7.

He was found by rescuers from the Adygea branch of the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia by helicopter and handed over to ambulance staff.

Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that at the end of August, a six-year-old boy from Stavropol fell into a ravine in Adygea after riding on amplitude swings and sustained serious injuries.
