The "Georgian Dream" does not protect the interests of the country, said participants of the march in Tbilisi on the 647th day of daily protests.

Human rights defenders will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Saba Skhvitari, convicted of assaulting a police officer during protest actions.

"Georgia against Ivanishvili!" — under this slogan, today's protest march is taking place in Tbilisi from the "Avlabari" metro station. In Tbilisi, on the 647th day of continuous protests, participants of the march arrived at the parliament building, reports Publika.

Demonstrators demand the release of political prisoners and the transfer of power to the people.

"On one side is the Georgian people, on the other is Ivanishvili and the power surrounding him. They are mired in corruption, which we are closely monitoring. But at the core of it all is this man, and he must leave this country," said protest participant Tato Kelbakiani, as reported by the TV company "Pirveli".

The fifth president of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, joined the participants of the march. According to Zourabichvili, the "dream" is collapsing from within. In the opinion of the fifth president of Georgia, no one in Ivanishvili's team trusts each other anymore.

"This country has no owner; it only has clans, corrupt people, and those pursuing Russian interests. This country needs to be returned," said Salome Zourabichvili to "Pirveli".

It is necessary for Georgia to be united and for all of us together to return Georgia, which is currently in captivity, she pointed out.

According to photos published by photographer Georgy Mosiashvili Mo Se, the participants of the march unfurled a large flag of Georgia, and in addition to the state flag, they carried flags of the EU, USA, Ukraine, and portraits of political prisoners.

Protesters in Georgia have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners since November 28, 2024. Security forces have conducted harsh dispersals of protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and detained protesters. During the protests, thousands of people have faced administrative prosecution.
