As reported by "Caucasian Knot", nine people were injured, including four children, and hospitalized after the drone attack in the Rostov region on August 29, with the condition of one of the girls assessed as serious. On August 30, doctors reported that the girl would require long-term recovery.

The decision to transfer the child to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Russia was made by a council of doctors; the girl has a serious leg injury with an artery rupture, requiring surgical intervention, and after stabilization of her condition, rehabilitation measures. According to Anton Narbutov, the deputy chief physician of RDKB for surgical affairs, the child's condition is assessed as moderate; she is conscious and eating independently, reports "Kommersant".
