Residents of the villages of South Ossetia voiced the main problems to Kambolov.

Problems with gas supply and water quality, lack of roads and agricultural machinery, wage arrears, and transport communication - these issues were raised by the residents of the villages of Orchosan and Tsinagar at a meeting with the acting president of South Ossetia, Marat Kambolov.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", Murat Valiev called for the development of the economy of South Ossetia and attracting investments during the debates, while Marat Kambolov boasted about agreements concluded with Russian agencies and regions in the field of social policy, and Kazbek Kodoev emphasized the importance of strengthening the control functions of government structures and overcoming the demographic crisis, noting that up to 500 young people leave South Ossetia every year. At the same time, all presidential candidates in South Ossetia stressed the need to fight corruption. Analysts considered the speeches at the debates to be populism, adding that the outcome of the elections is practically predetermined.
On August 23, the Central Election Commission of South Ossetia registered four candidates: Marat Kambolov, Zurab Kokoev, Murat Valiev, and Kazbek Kodoev. The presidential candidates of South Ossetia were supposed to discuss social policy during the debates on August 28, but the quality of the broadcast was such that voters could not understand what was being discussed.
The acting president and presidential candidate of South Ossetia, Marat Kambolov, held a meeting with the residents of the villages of Orchosan and Tsinagar on September 4, reports the Telegram channel "Emergency in Tskhinval".
The villagers asked Kambolov questions about the gas supply to the villages, the quality of roads and water, as well as equipment for agricultural work. The acting president promised to systematically address these issues not only in the specified villages but also in all districts of the republic. "Gasification will be carried out in stages. Until the connection of network gas, we will provide the villages of the Lenigorsk district with liquefied gas," he stated.
Regarding water, it was promised that the Tiriponsky canal would be cleaned to improve its supply, and it was stated that the work would be completed by the end of October.
Discussing support for agriculture, Kambolov reported that the list of necessary equipment has already been formed and sent to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
The villagers also touched on issues of bus communication between Tsinagar and Tskhinval, the road to the cemetery, the installation of an ATM, the opening of a state pharmacy in Orchosan, and wage arrears for utility workers. Kambolov instructed to determine specific solutions for each issue and the deadlines for their implementation.
