The governor of the Krasnodar region, in connection with the fire at the oil depot after the drone attack, urged not to create artificial panic at gas stations and to lift all limits on fuel sales. "At night, we woke up to a loud buzzing above us, rushed out of the apartment into the hallway. I had never heard drones over our house in Sochi before — we live quite high up on a mountain. The drones were circling, judging by the sound. We waited for the drone to fly away, went back in, quickly got dressed and went down to the shelter. We don't have a special place with a sign, but there is a parking lot under a large residential building that is closed off from different sides," 93.ru quoted her as saying.
She mentioned that they went down to the shelter twice — at first, it seemed that everything had quieted down, and the family went home, then "there was a very loud explosion, the most powerful one."
"The sky began to tremble with orange light. We thought something had hit nearby and needed to check if something was burning, we needed to call the firefighters and get some help. We took a backpack with power banks, passports, a first aid kit, and went out. But the fire was far away, just bright. And a thick black plume. Gradually, all the stars were obscured. We were outside for about an hour," the publication quoted her.
Irina reported that later, when she returned home, "it started again in the distance." "I was already too tired to go anywhere, and it didn't sound close, but I wanted to sleep like crazy. I laid down in the bathroom, my boyfriend next to me," she said.
Authorities reported on the elimination of the consequences of the drone attack
In the Adler district, after the nighttime drone attack, door-to-door checks were conducted, and special and emergency services are working in the areas where debris fell. The schedule for public transport has been temporarily adjusted on several routes. There are several cases of glass damage. Facilities in the sanatorium-resort and tourism sector are fully operational in normal mode, taking into account the current safety status, Sochi Mayor Andrey Proshunin reported on his Telegram channel.
The elimination of the fire at the oil depot, which occurred as a result of the nighttime drone attack, is ongoing. The Rospotrebnadzor is conducting air quality measurements. Sochi airport is operating according to the actual schedule, which is being adjusted by airlines, he reported.
The air meets standards, no deviations from the indicators have been identified, the Sochi administration reported on its Telegram channel following the study by Rospotrebnadzor specialists on the air in the Adler district of Sochi and in the FT "Sirius."

The fire at the oil depot may complicate the fuel situation at gas stations in the resort city, noted the governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev. "This cannot be allowed," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
"Gasoline and diesel are arriving in the region in sufficient volume, and the entire logistics chain must operate flawlessly, like a clockwork mechanism. At the same time, we are recording cases of creating artificial shortages, when fuel is not sold at some gas stations despite its availability. Such actions are unacceptable, as are any attempts to create panic on the ground. We will report all such facts to law enforcement agencies," Kondratiev promised.
According to him, "it is necessary to accelerate the unloading of arriving tankers, promptly deliver fuel to gas stations, and lift any limits at gas stations. It is important to supply resources to consumers quickly at a clear, fair, and accessible price," he stated.
The Sochi administration reported this morning that 48 gas stations are operating in the city. AI-100 is available at 5 gas stations, AI-95 at 27, AI-92 at 30, and diesel at 39 stations. "At 3 gas stations of the Rosneft network, priority is given to fueling: public transport, emergency, utility, and medical services, and transport of institutions ensuring the city's vital activities. They can also refuel using fuel cards for disabled persons of groups 1 and 2. 3 gas stations of Lukoil have been switched to servicing emergency services," the authorities informed.
