Participants of the action in Tbilisi expressed support for Denis Kulanin.
In Tbilisi, participants of the action near the temporary detention center for migrants demanded to provide Russian citizen Denis Kulanin the opportunity to voluntarily leave Georgia.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 31, lawyer Tsiala Ratiani stated that Kulanin would not be able to leave Georgia on September 1, despite having a purchased ticket to Yerevan. Activists announced an action at the temporary detention center for migrants demanding to provide him the opportunity to leave for a safe third country.
A protest action took place near the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in Tbilisi, where participants expressed support for Kulanin and demanded to provide him the opportunity to voluntarily leave the country, reported the Telegram channel Tbilisi life.
A video is attached to the publication, showing the gates of the migration department. Several people are standing near the gates, and a loudspeaker is lying on the ground, from which a speech in Georgian is heard.
Recall that on August 28, after Kulanin's pardon, he was placed in a deportation center. On August 29, it became known that he declared a dry hunger strike due to fears of deportation to Russia and the lack of information about the whereabouts of his foreign passport. On August 30, Kulanin ended the hunger strike after his lawyer showed him the passport. The court left him in the temporary accommodation center.
