The Southern District Military Court sentenced a 28-year-old resident of Krasnodar, finding him guilty of committing a crime under the article on public calls for terrorist activity.
The court established that in October 2024, the man posted a message in a public chat of a messenger, which, as experts concluded, contained calls to join a banned organization and participate in its activities, writes "Kommersant" on August 31.
The court found the accused guilty under part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and fined him 300 thousand rubles. In addition, he is prohibited from administering websites and pages on the internet for two years. The citizen's mobile phone was confiscated for state revenue.
