The governor's forecast about the improvement of the gasoline situation caused irony among the residents of Stavropol.

The fuel situation in Stavropol will improve in the second half of September, said Governor Vladimir Vladimirov. Residents of the region, commenting on his forecast in Telegram, criticized the officials' measures to improve the fuel situation and complained about the high cost of gasoline and its quality.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 24, the governor of Stavropol repeatedly demanded from his subordinates to reduce the use of official transport against the backdrop of the difficult fuel situation.

Improvement in the fuel situation in Stavropol is expected within a month, said the region's governor Vladimir Vladimirov.

"We expect the situation to improve after the processing facilities return to operation. Approximately, this will be in the second half of September," Vladimirov wrote today in his Telegram channel.

The deadline for improving the fuel situation named by the governor caused irony among commentators. "Reading between the lines: from September 15 to 20, everything will suddenly be available everywhere at old prices. Recall that on July 15, Vladimir Vladimirov ordered Stavropol officials to use official transport less, stating that this would free up about 3 thousand tons of fuel for the commercial market monthly.

On July 29, the regional authorities reported the stabilization of the fuel situation: demand for AI-95, AI-92, and diesel fuel, according to their data, returned to normal levels, after which restrictions on the use of official transport were lifted.

On August 12, drivers again complained about the lack of gasoline at gas stations in several cities of Stavropol and queues after fuel deliveries.
