A fighter from Kabardino-Balkaria was killed in the special military operation zone.

Elnur Mirzaev from Nartkala was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have acknowledged at least 470 combatants from Kabardino-Balkaria as killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by August 29, officials and security forces officially recognized at least 4798 fighters from the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District as killed in Ukraine, including 469 from Kabardino-Balkaria.

A stand dedicated to graduate Elnur Mirzaev, who was killed in the military operation, was opened at school No. 5 in Nartkala, reported the "Defenders of the Fatherland. KBR" fund on their Telegram channel.

Thus, at least 470 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 457 of them, and the deaths of another 13 became known from the report of the republic's authorities on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.
