The widow of Rafik Begov, who was killed in the special military operation in Ukraine, was awarded the Order of Courage, reported the administration of the Khivsky district on its Telegram channel on August 30. Details of the fighter's biography and circumstances of his death were not provided in the report.

Thus, at least 2089 combatants from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who have been killed in the military operation.
