The FSB reported the deprivation of citizenship of residents of Stavropol and Adygea.

Residents of the Stavropol Territory and Adygea have been stripped of Russian citizenship by the FSB's decision. According to the agency, they opposed the special military operation.

In total, the FSB stated, eight "migrants from the Central Asian region and the Caucasus" have been deprived of citizenship.

A resident of the Stavropol Territory, according to the agency, "participated in the implementation" of activities for foreigners, "aimed at forming a negative perception of Russian culture and a negative attitude towards people of Slavic nationality." In addition, the special service claims he called for the "sabotage of the unified state social support policy" for participants in the war against Ukraine.

A resident of Adygea criticized the participation of Muslims in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and also discussed the topic of conducting "jihad" in Russia with his circle. "Moreover, he was an advocate of ideas of ethnic superiority, did not wish to integrate into the surrounding linguistic and cultural environment, and showed a disdainful and consumerist attitude towards the Russian Federation and its indigenous population," the agency's website states.

Other individuals stripped of citizenship from other countries lived in Tuva, Chelyabinsk region, and the agency also reported the deprivation of citizenship of two individuals from the Caucasus involved in inciting interethnic strife.
