Drivers from Kabardino-Balkaria pointed out the price difference for gasoline with neighboring regions.
Kabardino-Balkaria has entered the top ten regions of Russia with the most expensive gasoline, said the agency "PromRating". Drivers from Kabardino-Balkaria, commenting on the rating data on social media, complained that fuel in the republic costs significantly more than in neighboring regions.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 28, residents of Kabardino-Balkaria complained about gasoline prices reaching 135–150 rubles per liter at certain gas stations. On August 12, social media users doubted the imminent decrease in gasoline prices and noted that at private gas stations, AI-92 cost 110–115 rubles, while AI-95 was 125–130 rubles.
On August 25, drivers in Nalchik stated that the situation with fuel shortages and long queues at gas stations is not improving. They reported that at private gas stations, the price of AI-95 reached 130 rubles per liter, while at network gas stations, gasoline is sold cheaper, but is not always available.
According to the analytical agency "PromRating", Kabardino-Balkaria ranked seventh in the top 10 regions with the highest gasoline prices. The average price of a liter of gasoline, according to the agency, in the republic is 100.47 rubles.
The rating of average gasoline prices in the regions was published by "PromRating" on August 27 on its website.

Users identifying themselves as drivers from Kabardino-Balkaria noted that prices at local gas stations are significantly higher than the price stated by "PromRating". "I protest! What 100? AI-95 on average is 129 ₽," wrote user aemaaa7.
"Today in Chegem, I filled up: 92 – 129 rubles," wrote pati__696.
"Where in Kabardino-Balkaria is the price 100 rubles? 125–130 rubles. I fill up with 95 gasoline," noted ansokova.z.z.
"I come to Pyatigorsk, fill up with 92 for 65 rubles. I enter Kabardino-Balkaria, fill up with 92 for 125 rubles. How is that?" asked user rauzat_0726.
"Where in Kabardino-Balkaria is 95 gasoline 100 rubles? Except for "Rosneft" and "Lukoil", where you need to wait a month just to fill up 20 liters," noted anton_miloslavskii_.
Recall that on August 19, drivers from Kabardino-Balkaria complained about long queues at gas stations and demanded that the authorities take effective measures to address this problem.
