Seven people were injured in a drone attack on the Rostov region.
Four residents of Rostov-on-Don and three residents of the Aksai district were injured today in a drone attack.
According to the governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusary, drones attacked Rostov-on-Don, as well as the Aksai, Bagaevsky, and Neklinovsky districts last night.
"As a result of a massive enemy attack on the Rostov region, seven people were injured. In Rostov-on-Don, four people were hospitalized – two adults and two children. One child is in serious condition. <…> In the Aksai district, three people sought medical help," Slyusary wrote today on his Telegram channel.
In the Proletarsky district of Rostov-on-Don, two apartment buildings were damaged due to falling debris from drones. Evacuation of residents is underway, and a temporary accommodation point has been set up. In the Aksai district, drone debris fell on warehouse territory, and a forest strip also caught fire.
In the Bagaevsky district, the glazing of private houses was damaged, but there were no injuries, Slyusary added.
The Ozon warehouse in the Rostov region was also hit by a drone attack, the company's press service reported.
"Last night, one of our logistics facilities in the Rostov region was attacked by UAVs <...>. A small fire broke out, but it was extinguished immediately," the Ozon press service told Interfax.
Workers had been evacuated in advance due to the drone threat, and there were no injuries, the press service added.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. Thus, on August 16, five people were killed in a drone attack in the region and one was injured. On August 15, about a thousand residents of seven hamlets in the Millerovsky district were left without electricity after power lines were damaged in a drone attack.
