Parents of schoolchildren in Krasnodar demanded remote learning.

Residents of Krasnodar recorded a video message to the head of the city, Evgeny Naumov, in which they demanded to switch children to remote learning until the local school opens. According to the parents, they categorically refuse to send their children to another school for safety reasons.

More than fifty parents of students gathered today at the building of the new school on Ponomarenko Street in Krasnodar, the opening of which has been postponed, and recorded a message to the head of the city.

The video message was published by the Telegram channel "Krasnodar - Teletype," which has over 126 thousand subscribers. By 21:30 Moscow time, the publication had gained over 500 views.

"Dear mayor of Krasnodar, today we gathered at the entrance of the future school No. 66, the opening of which has been postponed, our children are forced to study in three shifts on Ussuriyskaya Street. This is unacceptable for anyone," the gathered people say in the video.

Parents demanded a specific date for the opening of the school and to switch children to remote learning until that time.

"We are recording this video so that our children are switched to remote learning until the school is completed. Please tell us the exact date of the school's opening, and we also ask that textbooks be provided for the children," the parents stated.

The gathered people categorically refuse to transport children through traffic jams, in conditions of fuel shortages. "Due to such an unstable and dangerous situation, we do not want to transport children to Ussuriyskaya, we want our children to study remotely until the school is completed," they demanded.

In the morning, the head of Krasnodar, Evgeny Naumov, visited the school and reported that the school would open in September. "No remote learning is provided. There will be an optimal class schedule that will allow all students to be accommodated," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the city, work is currently being completed around the school: landscaping, greening, and the top layer of asphalt needs to be laid.

"The new school building for 1550 students has been constructed, all necessary equipment for organizing a full educational process has been purchased and installed. The teaching staff has been formed, and students have been enrolled in the school. Currently, the legal registration of the new school is underway. Therefore, enrolled children will temporarily study in the main building of this school on Ussuriyskaya Street," his message states.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that a conflict erupted in Sochi between the administration of school No. 28 in Adler and the parents of future first-graders. The reason was the school's decision to hold a ceremonial line on September 1 in a closed room without allowing most parents. Parents achieved the cancellation of the celebration in a hall with panoramic glazing due to safety concerns for children in the context of drone attacks.
