The Kizlyar investigative department has initiated a criminal case against a 23-year-old local resident. According to the investigation, there were calls for terrorism in the audio recording he published on the internet.
According to the investigation, the suspect, using a mobile phone, published an audio recording on his social media page that contained public calls for terrorist activities.
The article provides for a prison sentence of five to seven years, reports the Investigative Committee of Dagestan on its Telegram channel.
"Currently, the investigation is conducting a series of investigative actions aimed at securing the evidence base and establishing all the circumstances of the committed crime," the agency's message says.
The Investigative Committee did not specify the name of the suspect, nor did the message indicate what kind of audio recording was disseminated by the suspect.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the investigative department for the city of Kaspiysk has initiated a criminal case against a resident of the city of Kaspiysk due to an audio recording posted online, which, according to the investigation, contained signs of justification of terrorism.
