The administration of the Gulkievsky district reported on the opening of a memorial plaque for Ivan Chernychev, who was killed in the special military operation, on their page on "VKontakte".

Chernychev signed a contract in May 2024 and, after training, went to the combat zone as a stormtrooper. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.

Thus, at least 884 military personnel from the Krasnodar region have been officially recognized as killed.
