Adam Kadyrov's list of awards has been supplemented with the medal of the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia.
The 18-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov, has been awarded the medal of the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia "For Combat Brotherhood."
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 14, Adam Kadyrov received the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Kurchaloevsky District." The Security Council of Chechnya stated that the awarding of the title is a recognition of his work and merits to the residents of the district, without specifying what they are.
The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov announced the awarding of the 18-year-old son Adam Kadyrov with the medal of the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia.
"For a high level of interaction and strengthening of cooperation, he was awarded the medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Abkhazia "For Combat Brotherhood," Kadyrov wrote on August 25 in his Telegram channel.
Recall that Adam Kadyrov began receiving numerous awards and titles in the fall of 2023, shortly after the beating of Nikita Zhuravelya in the pre-trial detention center. The circumstances of this case are outlined in the report of the "Caucasian Knot" "Beating of Nikita Zhuravelya: why did Kadyrov's men need to publish the video".
Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov claimed that all of his son's awards are related to specific achievements and called Adam a "remarkable guy." From February 2022 to August 2025, Ramzan Kadyrov himself and 29 of his close relatives received at least 146 different awards and distinctions. At least 31 of them were awarded to the head of Chechnya, while his son Adam takes second place in the number of awards.
Thus, on August 25, 2025, Adam Kadyrov was awarded the medal "Defender of the Chechen Republic" at a tactical shooting championship, although he did not participate in the competition itself. On May 31, he received a medal for his contribution to the special military operation.
In the summer of 2026, a video was published on one of the social media accounts associated with Adam Kadyrov, showing him violating traffic rules. In the recording, the third son of the head of Chechnya was driving at a speed 2.5 times the allowed limit, crossed a double solid line, and was using a phone while driving. Lawyers pointed out that such a video could serve as grounds for initiating an administrative case, including revocation of driving rights. A few days after the video appeared, Adam Kadyrov received a medal from the traffic police.
