Danzan Nostaev was born on August 18, 2004, in Elista. He graduated from Elista School No. 2. After finishing school, Danzan enrolled in Kalmyk State University in the specialty of "Fire Safety," reported the state news agency "Kalmykia."
In January 2024, while studying in his fourth year at the university, he signed a contract to serve in the area of the special military operation. After completing training at the training ground in Budennovsk, where he studied tactics and first aid, on February 3, 2024, junior sergeant Nostaev was sent to the DPR. He was assigned to the 2nd assault squad of the motorized rifle battalion.
On February 3, 2025, junior sergeant Nostaev was killed during a mortar shelling in the settlement of Krasnoe.
Thus, at least 255 combatants from Kalmykia have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front.
