Subordinates of the governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, are ignoring his instructions to use official transport less amid the fuel crisis. For real effectiveness, they should switch to public transport and bicycles, local residents stated on Telegram.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", today the governor of Stavropol, Vladimir Vladimirov, demanded that his subordinates reduce the use of official transport amid the fuel problem.
In mid-July, Vladimir Vladimirov instructed Stavropol officials to use official transport less. On July 29, the authorities of the Stavropol Territory reported the stabilization of the fuel situation, after which the governor instructed to lift restrictions on the use of official transport by officials.

Some commentators, identifying themselves as local residents, reported that fuel is absent or quickly running out at certain gas stations. "When will it be fixed? At the 'Gazprom' gas station, they brought diesel and 92, which was enough for 70 cars, the rest left empty-handed, and they said not to expect 95 at all," wrote Valeria.
"All gas stations on Dovatortsev are empty, there is no fuel of any kind, all at zero," noted Vova.
"It's not available anywhere in Stavropol," stated Vladimir.
Other commentators complained about restrictions on refueling with fuel cards. "Good afternoon. Why did 'Lukoil' remove the ability to refuel with fuel cards? What should enterprises do?" asked Anna Mashkina.
"I also can't refuel with a fuel card at 'Rosneft' and 'Gazprom': 'Only emergency services.' Although at 'Gazprom,' I saw a black Coolray without color markings being refueled in front of me. They probably use it to put out fires," sarcastically noted Andrey Damakin.
The suggestion to reduce trips of official transport was met by some users with ironic advice for officials to switch to public transport and bicycles. "Maybe these officials will switch to public transport? Preferably stuffy minibuses, not the latest trolleybuses with air conditioning that often doesn't work," emphasized a user 𝑐𝑜𝑤𝑏𝑜𝑦 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑟.
"I want all senior officials to ride bicycles to work. At least we can see them. The governor rides – and his complexion is good, and his figure is slim, let the others catch up. Otherwise, they groan from their limousines," wrote Teywaz.
"How do people get to work if it's 40 kilometers away? By bicycle in the evening. Or on foot," sarcastically noted Vik.
