A woman from Makhachkala was fined for financing FBK*
The Lenin District Court of Makhachkala found a local resident guilty of financing extremist activities and sentenced her to a fine of 500,000 rubles.
According to the investigation and the court, the defendant was a supporter of the ideas of the organization ("Caucasian Knot" can provide the name of the organization upon request)*.
In August 2021, knowing that the organization was recognized as extremist and liquidated, she transferred 500 rubles from home to the organization's address. She made the transfer by clicking on links on the website of the banned organization, the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Dagestan reported today on their Telegram channel.
"During the court session, the woman admitted her guilt and expressed remorse for her actions," the press service's message states.
The court found her guilty of financing extremist activities and imposed a penalty in the form of a fine of 500,000 rubles. The convicted woman was also ordered to pay 500 rubles to the state as confiscation of the funds used in the transfer.
The press service does not name the convicted woman, however, according to the criminal case registry on the website of the Lenin District Court, the last case under part 1 of article 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, for which a verdict was issued, was considered in relation to Nazaket Gadzhibekova. The case was submitted to the court on April 20, and the verdict was issued on August 18.
Nazaket Gadzhibekova is a native of the village of Kala in the Rutul district, she is 47 years old, according to the record in the register of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring. According to a message from a Telegram bot tracking updates in this list, Gadzhibekova's data was added to it on March 20, 2026.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that a court in Dagestanskie Ogni sentenced local resident Sabir Murtuzaliev to a monetary fine for financing an organization recognized as extremist in Russia.
