The Rostov region was attacked by drones.

Last night, air defense forces neutralized more than 80 drones in the Rostov region.

According to the governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusary, last night the drone attack affected the Bokovsky, Verkhnedonsky, Kasharsky, Krasnosulinsky, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, and Sholokhovsky districts. The air defense forces (PVO) destroyed more than 80 drones.

"No information about casualties or damage on the ground has been received," Slyusary wrote today on his Telegram channel.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Rostov region regularly faces drone attacks. Thus, on August 17, the air defense forces neutralized more than 50 drones in five cities and nine districts of the region, and no information about casualties or damage was received. On August 16, the number of fatalities from the nighttime drone attack on the region increased to five, and another person was injured.
