Protesters in Tbilisi have been demonstrating against the actions of the authorities for the 627th consecutive day.

At the Parliament of Georgia, on the 627th day of daily protests, activists gathered demanding the country return to the course of Eurointegration and the release of political prisoners.

Today marks the 627th day of continuous protest — those dissatisfied with the actions of the authorities gathered near the parliament and the city council building in Tbilisi. They are demanding new parliamentary elections, a return to the course of Eurointegration, and the release of activists who have been imprisoned due to protest actions, reports Publika.

According to a recording made by David Chkheidze, several dozen people gathered today at the legislative body, including with flags of Georgia and the European Union. One of the protesters held an anti-Russian slogan written in English. The atmosphere at the parliament building is calm.

Protesters in Georgia have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners since November 28, 2024. Security forces have conducted harsh dispersals of protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and have detained protesters.
