Chechen authorities reported on the distribution of food in the Gaza Strip.
285 families in the Gaza Strip received food assistance, including 80 families living in the Al-Abir camp, reported Ramzan Kadyrov.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced that the Akhmat Kadyrov Public Fund has begun a humanitarian mission in the Gaza Strip, which will cover one million people. As part of this mission, food has already been delivered to refugee camps.
Chechen authorities periodically report on providing assistance to Palestinian refugees. For instance, on July 22, the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the transfer of 20,000 rubles to them from the Akhmat Kadyrov Fund. For Palestinian refugees located in Chechnya, the authorities also organized a charity event during which food was distributed.
As part of the next stage of the campaign, 285 families in the Gaza Strip received food, including 80 families in the Al-Abir camp, where hundreds of people have found only temporary shelter, Kadyrov reported today on his Telegram channel.
"The total weight of the delivered aid was 6.5 tons — this includes vegetables, fruits, cereals, and the most essential items for those who have been living in conditions of need and uncertainty for months," Kadyrov noted.
He reminded that the assistance is provided by the Akhmat Kadyrov Fund, whose president is Aiman Kadyrova. "The curator of the humanitarian mission is the assistant to the Head of the Chechen Republic, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Chechen Republic, Adam Kadyrov," added the head of Chechnya.
It is worth noting that earlier, Chechen authorities reported the arrival of 209 refugees from Palestine, and after several months, keys to apartments were handed over to the families. The head of the Ministry of National Policy of the republic, Ahmed Dudayev, stated at a meeting with the refugees that they should maintain cleanliness and be more organized, and they should not rush the republic's authorities to solve their problems. Dudayev's reproaches towards the guests contradict Chechen hospitality traditions, noted Caucasus experts and human rights defenders.
The Kadyrov Fund was established in 2004. The construction of grand skyscrapers, exorbitant fees for stars, and tournaments in mixed martial arts are mentioned alongside the usual social and economic projects typical of bureaucratic reports when discussing the fund's activities. All budget employees in Chechnya are required to donate about 10% of their income to charity every month, according to a report by "Caucasian Knot" titled "Kadyrov Fund: how 'money from Allah' is spent."
