A school in the Rostov region was damaged during a drone raid.

About 90 drones were shot down in eight districts of the Rostov region, regional authorities reported.

A fire in dry vegetation occurred at night in the village of Nizhny Kovalyev and in the yard of a school in the village of Volchensky, several windows in the school building were damaged, reported the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar.

"In total, last night, during the repulsion of the air attack on the Rostov region, about ninety UAVs were destroyed in eight districts - Millerovsky, Azovsky, Belokalitvinsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky, Myasnikovsky, Tarasovsky, and Chertkovsky," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. For instance, on August 2, a fire at an elevator occurred in the Millerovsky district due to the fall of drone debris . On the night of July 25, four people were injured in Rostov-on-Don and one in the Krasnosulinsky district during a drone attack. On July 20, the fall of drone debris led to a forest fire in the Sholokhovsky district, and on July 19, for the same reason, a wheat field in the Krasnosulinsky district caught fire.
