Today, the head of the Public Monitoring Commission of Dagestan, Shamil Khadulaev, reported in his Telegram channel about the death of Umar Dzhambaruev in a military operation in Ukraine.
According to him, today the body of another participant in the events at Makhachkala airport in 2023, who was killed in the special military operation zone, will be delivered to the village of Tarki.
"Umar left behind four sons. This is already the second case where a participant in those airport events dies in the special military operation zone. The first guy, Murtazaliev (his name was Muhammad-Said), was buried on January 13," his message states.
Khadulaev also added that there are currently six participants in the airport events in the combat zone, and another one returned disabled.
It should be noted that the surname Dzhambaruev was not mentioned in the sentences of the courts that considered the cases of participants in the events at Makhachkala airport.
More than 130 people have been convicted for participating in the mass riots at Makhachkala airport, with sentences ranging from 6.5 years to 15 years in prison.
