Contract soldier Sergey Simonov was killed in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the special operation, at least 1826 fighters from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", earlier representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies officially recognized that at least 1825 fighters from the Volgograd region were killed in Ukraine.
"Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, according to a report by "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the special military operation: losses in southern Russia are increasing".
In the zone of the military operation in Ukraine, contract soldier Sergey Simonov was killed. The authorities decided to install a memorial plaque in his honor on the wall of the building of the departmental security branch where Simonov worked for a certain period, reported "Volga Media" citing the press service of the Volgograd Duma.
Thus, at least 1826 fighters from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in the special military operation.
