As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 3, the authorities of the Krasnodar region reported seven dead and 40 injured as a result of the drone attack in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka near Gelendzhik. On August 4, the operational headquarters of Kuban announced that the number of those injured in the drone attack in Arkhipo-Osipovka increased to 58 people. Two of the deceased children came to the Krasnodar region from the city of Shakhty in the Rostov region, reported the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar. He promised additional payments to their families.

The deputy chief physician of the hospital for surgical work, Anton Narbutov, reported that the children were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to the torso, limbs, and neck; their condition is assessed as serious but stable. They are in the intensive care and resuscitation unit.
