Five people were injured in a drone attack on the Ilysky Oil Refinery.
As a result of drone debris falling on the territory of the Ilysky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Territory, five people were injured.
According to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, a fire occurred at the Ilysky Oil Refinery (NPP) due to the falling debris of the drone.
"According to preliminary information, five people were injured. They are receiving all necessary medical assistance," the message published today on the operational headquarters' Telegram channel said.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Krasnodar Territory is regularly subjected to drone attacks. For instance, on August 5, debris from a drone damaged a house in the village of Supsekh in Anapa, with no injuries reported. On August 3, seven people died in a drone attack on Arkhipo-Osipovka, and the number of injured subsequently increased to 58. On August 1, a resident of Primorsko-Akhtarsk was injured when drone debris fell.
It is worth noting that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in Kuban, a fuel crisis has emerged. In the Krasnodar Territory, the fuel problem caused a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas cylinder equipment. In auto services, customer queues have stretched for several months ahead, and the cost of equipment has nearly doubled.
Analysts previously noted that the long wait forces motorists to turn to "gray" installers who do not guarantee the safety of the equipment.
At the same time, analysts believe that the mass installation of gas equipment will not help overcome the fuel crisis, as the necessary infrastructure is still lacking.
Creating such infrastructure in a short time is impossible, said Alexander Frolov, Deputy General Director of the National Energy Institute. "However, the current crisis is a good reason to remember the programs that already exist but are developing much slower than planned," he noted.
Leading analyst of the National Energy Security Fund Igor Yushkov suggested that the mass transition of drivers to gas will not become a long-term trend. In his opinion, after the gasoline issue is resolved and queues at gas stations disappear, the excitement around the installation of gas equipment will decline.
