The former head of the Yelansk district of the Volgograd region, Dmitry Litvinov, who was sentenced to 10 years for fraud in the construction of houses for orphans, filed an appeal against the verdict.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in early July, the former head of the Yelansk district of the Volgograd region, Dmitry Litvinov, was sentenced to 10 years in a strict regime colony for fraud in the construction of houses for orphans.
The appeal from the former head of the Yelansk district, Dmitry Litvinov, has been submitted to the Volgograd Regional Court, writes "Vysota 102" on August 7.
Litvinov's lawyer, Mikhail Rastrygin, considered the sentence handed down to his client too harsh. He insists that the amount of damage caused by the construction of unsuitable housing for orphans is inflated, especially since the conducted examination recognized it as technically sound. The convicted person does not admit that he received a bribe in the form of a cottage from the builder of houses for orphans.
The hearing on the case is scheduled for August 25.
