A resident of Dagestan is suspected of justifying terrorism

The investigative department for the city of Kaspiysk has initiated a criminal case against a resident of the city of Kaspiysk due to an audio recording posted online, which, according to the investigation, contained signs of justifying terrorism.

According to the investigation, the suspect, using a mobile phone, posted an audio recording on her page in one of the social networks that contained statements expressing public justification of terrorism and propaganda of terrorist activities.

She is suspected of public calls for the commission of terrorist activities, public justification and propaganda of terrorism, committed using the internet , the investigative committee for the region reported on its Telegram channel.

"Since access to the published material was available to an indefinite number of Internet users, the information contained in it became publicly accessible," the agency's message states.

Currently, the investigation is conducting a range of investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the committed crime.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the prosecutor's office of Dagestan approved an indictment in the criminal case against a resident of Moscow accused of public justification of terrorism.
