According to the case materials, resident of Nalchik Shahin Shikhmuradov filmed a video in which he called for public actions aimed at discrediting the army, and then sent the clip to a group in the WhatsApp* messenger.

The Nalchik city court found Shikhmuradov guilty of discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation and fined him 30,000 rubles, as indicated in the case card published on the court's website.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that earlier the court fined resident of the Cherek district Kazbek Kazakov, acknowledging that the video he published on the social network "VKontakte" discredited the army.
