A resident of the city of Donetsk in the Rostov region is suspected of posting a comment on the internet justifying the activities of a terrorist organization.
According to the investigation, a 51-year-old man in February of this year, while at home, used his mobile phone to post a comment in one of the internet communities that contained justifications for the activities of a banned paramilitary nationalist organization recognized as terrorist in Russia.
The message was publicly accessible and could be read by an unlimited number of people, writes the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region on July 31.
A criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public justification of terrorism committed using the internet).
